IB-EYL
The academic year 2024-2025 was an exciting and enriching journey for our youngest learners in the IB Early Years Programme. Rooted in inquiry-based learning, our EYL classrooms came alive with curiosity, exploration, and discovery.
Throughout the year, our early learners explored transdisciplinary themes such as “Who We Are,” “How We Express Ourselves,” “How the World Works,” and “Sharing the Planet.” Each unit of inquiry was designed to nurture their natural curiosity and help them develop essential skills such as communication, critical thinking, self-management, and social collaboration.
At the heart of our Early Years approach was the promotion of student agency, where learners had voice, choice, and ownership of their learning. Through differentiated opportunities, inquiry-based provocations, and engaging environments, each child was supported according to their unique needs and interests. Strong collaboration among co-teachers, the learning environment, and parents enriched this process. As a result, our learners grew not only academically, but also emotionally and socially, becoming confident communicators, caring peers, and principled individuals.
